This article has been such an epiphany for me.

I have always had this reaction from guys about my hobbies and interests.

I also always blamed myself for not being interesting enough.

I dated a guy who told me that he would of gone to law school (like me) but he just did not find it an intellectual challenge and had to do something better.

He thought my paintings were stupid and basic.

He also did not understand why I would not devote most of my time to playing Magic The Gathering online with him.

Did I mention I did most of the chores, as well.

I did go with him to his friends house to play some complex intellectual board games.

I beat him at the first game and he never asked me to go ever again.
