Interesting read.

When I was a kid it seemed like if a woman met the standards for being conventionally attractive then she had it made. It was just assumed she would have an easy life because men would always give her what she wanted and that she would not have any trouble marry an incredibly successful man.

I think now some people realize that life is more complicated than that. Beauty is worthless if you keep choosing people who do not value you as a person or have little respect for you beyond your good looks.
