I feel like there is a double standard because when we women talk about a man being financially responsible, we get called gold diggers or whores.

I just had a male friend end a relationship with a woman because she had bad credit (they were planning on moving in together) and everyone is telling him he made the right decision. No one is calling him names for wanting a financially responsible woman.
