For a while, Ariella saw nothing but darkness in her despair. Then, finally, she cried as she passed out when the glowing eyes came toward her.
When she came to, she found herself in a log cabin. Ariella began to scream. Two large, powerful arms clutched at her.
“Ariella, calm down; you are safe.” said a powerful voice.
Ariella looked up to find a large man with black and grey hair looking back down at her.
“I know you have been through a horrible shock, and I am here to care for you.”
Ariella jumped out of his arms, “YOU KILLED MY MOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!” she screamed.
“Ariella, your mother was already like that when I found her, I swear.” He said cautiously.
“I wish I could have helped her, but it was already too late.”
“Where are the police?” Ariella shouted.
“We can’t call the police, Ariella, and I will tell you why but first I need you to calm down.”, he said.
“You have been through a horrible trauma, and you are not ready for the truth right now.”
Ariella bolted out the door. She found herself at the top of a snowy mountain. She started to run, but the snow was knee-deep, and she could not make real progress. Before she knew it the man was in front…
